Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is celebrated in Canada
in mid-October. Like Americans, we celebrate with our extended family and way too much food.

When we count our many blessings, family and friends are high on the list.  We are especially blessed with our five beautiful grandchildren (pictured with Grandma Sheree at right).

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
May you be surrounded with the love of your family and friends as you celebrate.

Last year, to celebrate our 25th anniversary at Duck Bay Lodge, we offered guests a chance to win their trip.  The promotion created so much excitement, we're offering it again!

Every trip booked, and confirmed with deposit, by December 31st will be entered to win.  The free trip will cover the trip that you have booked, with full American Plan accommodations and applicable taxes for 2 people.  Guide service and bait not included.  Drawing will be held New Years Eve.  And to read about last years' winners, Dixie and Ross Boring, see below.

As you plan your trip, keep in mind all of our other rate specials.  Only one discount per person will apply.

Early booking:  save 10% by booking your trip, and paying your deposit, by December 31st.

Children:  deduct 30% for persons 17 years of age and under.

Late summer:  deduct 20% from August 1st to September 30th.

Dixie & Ross...

Our trip winner last year was Dixie and Ross Boring (Brainerd, MN).  Dixie and Ross take two trips a year to Duck Bay, spring and fall, and stay one - two weeks each time.  They bring their own boat, a 21 ½ foot Lund Baron. Besides fishing, they also enjoy boating around Lake of the Woods. From Duck Bay in the south-east corner of the lake, they have taken trips to each corner of Lake of the Woods, including Kenora at the north end to Warroad and Baudette, MN on the south and west sides.

And Ross will be the first to admit that Dixie usually catches more fish and bigger fish than him!  On one of their trips this year, Dixie caught two 35 inch fish in one hour!
