One last cast...

Guest Bobbie Moran (Omaha, NE) was fishing with husband Kevin and guide Chris.  A thunder storm was starting to look likely; Bobbie wanted to come back to camp, but the guys weren't quite ready.  So she casted a few more times, caught this big, beautiful walleye (30 ½ inches) and they headed for home.

The fish are biting!

Guest Don Falk was up in the spring with his two grandsons Brady Falk and Mike Falk.  The walleyes were biting that week.  Above is Don with a 29 inch and Brady with a 23 inch.

Muskie season is open

Dave Gallimore's 42 inch muskie
Muskie season opened the third Saturday of June. Right from the opener they have been active.

"Beginner's luck" is how Dave Gallimore (Los Alamos, NM) describes catching this 42 inch muskie.  There are no muskies in the lakes he fishes in New Mexico, so this was a new experience.  He is shown here with Duck Bay guide Bill Luney.
