Our sports show schedule...

Sports shows have been fairly busy this year;  thanks to all who came to visit with us in Chicago.  Here is where we'll be in February:

Oh, our aching backs...

 

After we closed for the season in late September, a work party of seven of our staff and family began the huge job of refinishing some of our hardwood floors.  The first one to be done was cabin 5.  
 
Next all the furniture was removed from the lodge and kitchen and relocated to the recreation hall.  Then we sanded down the lodge floor and refinished it.  In the kitchen, the old linoleum was lifted to uncover the original hardwood floors.  
 
We are so pleased with the results.  In the spring the lodge will need a major cleaning, that fine dust from sanding is coating everything. Then all the furniture will be brought back in, just in time for the arrival of the first guests of the season!
