Still time to fish this fall...

After a couple of very hot weeks at the end of August (90's), temperatures are starting to feel fall-like (60's) and the leaves are starting to turn color.

Guides consider September their favorite time of year.   The water is cooling down and the fish are coming shallow, bigger fish are getting more active and crappies are schooling up.

There is still time to come on up;  we are open until September 27th and have availability all throughout the month.

Testimonial from a young guest...

Isabella's note

Isabella Hesli & Dick Ward

Isabella Hesli (Linwood, MN) and grandpa Dick Ward (Minneapolis, MN)

While on her first Canadian fishing trip, Isabella caught a number of walleyes (36 in one day with mom Jennifer and grandpa Dick) and also her first muskie which was 32 inches.  We loved the note she wrote in the cabin journal.

cabin 5 new deck

null I

In the last newsletter, we mentioned replacing the screened-in porches on several of the cabins with new decks.  The project is now almost complete;  we're currently building screen doors for each cabin and next spring we'll add some comfortable seating.  We hope you'll enjoy them!
