Fishing is hot

Dave DeAngelo's 41 inch northern The summer is going by way too quickly!  The weather has cooled down somewhat from the heat wave of early July. 
Evenings are starting to feel fall-like so if your trip is upcoming, pack to wear layers as you will need a jacket or sweatshirt for evenings.

At left is Dave DeAngelo (Coal City, IL) with the largest northern caught so far this summer - 41 inches.  Click here to see some of the other nice catches.

Scott Cooney's 29 inch walleye

Scott Cooney's 49 inch muskie












During his trip in the third week of July guest Scott Cooney (Omaha, NE) caught this 29 inch walleye and 49 inch muskie. 
Both fish were caught on the same day; just one of those perfect fishing days!

One of the projects we are currently working on is to remove the screened-in porches on three of the cabins and replace them with decks overlooking the lake.  Here are Dave and Jimmy on demolition detail. We are sure you'll enjoy a nice place to gather and socialize right outside your front door.
