Sheree & Dave on Pinnacle Peak
We are enjoying our last few weeks in the warm Arizona sun before returning home to Canada on April 1st.  And we can't tell you how excited we are for the upcoming summer!  We have a tremendous staff lined up to take care of you.
Meet just three of our professional fishing guides below.  They are all eager for the ice to go out, and fishing season to start!

Next month we'll introduce you to the four young ladies who will be taking care of you in camp.

Jimmy Van Gorp
Jimmy & his daughter
Joining our team of fishing professionals this year is Jimmy.  Jimmy is a family man with a wife and two children, a daughter aged 4 years (pictured above) and a son 18 months old.  He and his family live in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Jimmy learned to fish from his uncle and other family members and has been a fishing and hunting guide since 2001.

He enjoys meeting new people, but especially loves watching people catch fish, whether it is their first fish or their 10,000th.

He looks forward to making some lasting memories and long friendships at Duck Bay this summer.

Chris Manley
Chris Manley
Chris is a newly-wed, marrying wife Jill last fall. They live in Kenora at the north end of Lake of the Woods with their lovable dog Churchill.

His first job at a fishing lodge was as a dockhand and guide-trainee;  Chris has now been a professional fishing guide in NorthWestern Ontario for over 20 years.

His hobbies include anything outdoors - fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming and camping;  in winter, ice-fishing, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.

Chris thinks the most rewarding part of guiding is knowing that he had a part in creating those memories that will last a lifetime.
Bill Luney
Mike Dschida's 50 1/2 inch muskie
Bill was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, but since his dad worked for the railway, the family moved around a fair amount during his childhood.  Despite this, Bill always returned to the family cabin on Lake of the Woods for the summer, where he learned his fishing, hunting and trapping skills.

Bill has worked as a professional guide on Lake of the Woods for over 30 years. Last summer he married Corey and they live on Lake of the Woods full time.

You are sure to enjoy spending time with him on the lake for his vast knowledge, as well as his dry with and sense of humor.
