 Employee Focus--Lindsay Phillips
Lindsay Phillips joined the Plus Team in 2008. She was promoted earlier this year to Administrative Coordinator and now along with her various administrative duties, she also supervises the administrative staff. Lindsay has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education as well as an Associates of Arts degree in Business Management. Lindsay is a team player, and we are appreciative for her leadership and the active role she plays here at Plus Inc.
Lindsay is passionate about work, family and helping others. I recently asked her about her experience at Plus Inc. and new happenings, and here is what she had to say:
My co-workers are my favorite things about working at Plus Inc. Being a small company allows us to get to know each other not just as co-workers but on a personal level as well. It makes for a great company atmosphere that is much like a big family.
I grew up in Greenville and am proud to work for a locally-owned small business. I wish everyone knew that Plus Inc. is a locally-owned business that has been in the Greenville area for more than 50 years. We keep the supplies and parts for our customers on location so they do not have to wait a long time for what they need. Being local, we also like to support other local businesses in the Greenville area whether it be through charity projects or for our own business needs.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my 2 1/2 year old niece. I also enjoy baking and running. I am currently training for a half marathon coming up in November. My favorite recent event is the start of college football. I love cheering on my Clemson Tigers!! Also, my husband Adam and I have recently become involved in working with the youth. Since we currently do not have any kids of our own, this is something we are both passionate about and really enjoy getting to know the teenagers and spending time with them at church.
Something on my bucket list that I hope to cross off soon is to go skydiving. I also want to complete a full marathon. I love anything that gets my adrenaline running!
