CURSILLO: Cursillo is a movement of the church. Its purpose is to help those in the church understand their individual callings to be Christian leaders. This leadership may be exercised in work situations, in the family and social life, in leisure activities, and within the Church environment. In Cursillo, leadership does not mean power over others, but influence upon others; all of us need to be aware that we can exert positive influence on those around us. If you would like more information, please see Drusilla Grubb, Neil Malmquist, Peggy Strand, Rhonda Muir or Nancy Holland.

OUTREACH

ST. PAUL'S SENIOR SERVICES HOUSING FOR HOMELESS VETERANS: The gift of a home for $2,000: St. Paul's Senior Services PACE program offers all inclusive care to frail, elderly seniors. Now, through a partnership with BRIDGE HOUSING, St. Paul's PACE program will also offer 63 affordable housing units for PACE participants at the new Celedon Building on 9th and Broadway. These 63 units are designated as a priority for homeless senior veterans. For those selected to live in these apartments, this is transformational. Imagine coming out of homelessness to a roof, four walls and furnishings. St. Paul's has identified a specific list of furnishings and soft goods necessary for each of the 63 units.  The cost for these furnishings is $2,000 per apartment. The Vestry of All Souls' feels this is a unique opportunity to extend our ministry to the military to those who have served and now find themselves in difficult circumstances. The donation period has been extended through June.  Donations of any amount are welcome as we combine our efforts as a community to support this unique housing program. If you would like to contribute any amount, please make your check payable to All Souls' with "PACE Veterans Housing" in the memo line. Thank you for your generosity and your concern for the men and women of our military.
