The 41st Diocesan Convention is entitled "All Things New" and will be held on February 13 and 14 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 760 First Avenue, Chula Vista. We are anxious to see what God will do in 2015 and how God will work through many individuals that give of their Time, Talent and Treasure to make a difference in so many people's lives. The keynote speeches, workshop sessions, and business meetings at the Convention will present and display ways in which we can continue to work for the kingdom of God. If you are interested in attending the Convention, please contact the church office at 619-223-6394 or email at office@allsoulspointloma.org.

UPDATES

CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION

Our time in Advent discussing John Polkinghorne's book, Living with Hope, was very well received. As we only finished about half of the book, we would like to have at least one more conversation. Join us on January 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Rankin Room as we gather for a light supper and conversation. Perhaps this will also be an opportunity to choose another book to read and plan additional conversations.

ANNUAL MEETING|VOTING

During the Annual Meeting a vote may be needed.  Who can vote?  Any member of All Souls' who is a member if good standing (attends church and receives communion 3 times or more a year, and is 16 years of age or older and who pledges and is a regular giver of record.  Proxy voting is not allowed.  When you enter Gooden Hall on Sunday, January 25th after the 9 AM service (remember, there is only one service that Sunday), you will be asked to sign in to ensure we have a quorum.

PARISH PHOTOS

Do you have photos of events and people involving All Souls' parishioners partaking in fun, fellowship, worship, outreach, Home Tour and other events? If so, please either send via email to Jayne Ricker in the parish office or bring them in on a data stick. We would like to create a slide show of All Souls' at work, play and worship for use during our 2015 Annual Meeting. In fact, how about remembering to take photos at our special events. We will have everlasting memories. Thank you!

SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

TVs & DVDs: Have you upgraded your DVD and TV lately? Our new Sunday School Program is looking for one or two LCD TVs and DVD players. We haven't budgeted for these items right now and would welcome a donation. Gently used and operational equipment would be great! Thanks for your consideration. Please email the church office at office@allsoulspointloma.org or call us at 619-2223-6394 if you can contribute.
