Today's spotlight is on the EWN Design Team's star photographer and technical writer, Red Shaw. In his spare time, Red teaches a beginning photography class at a local college. He has a unique perspective that teaches students about photography, and that it is not just snap, snap, snap.
Over the past couple of weeks, the students have wrapped up the semester and submitted their final projects, which focus on oil and gas photography.

Drill Pier Construction - Importance of Safety |

"It is important to constantly be preaching the benefits and the need for safety," said Safety Manager, Ricky Hayes of Drill Pier Construction, an EWN client. EWN got the chance to speak with Ricky about his company's safety practices in lieu of National Safety Month when he recently attended EWN's Master Evaluator Certification Program (MECP) Class.
In order to maintain the concept of safety, Drill Pier Construction focuses in on two key safety practices, annual training and daily toolbox meetings.

EWN Appoints New Director of Technology Services |
EWN is proud to announce the appointment of Lauren Morton as the Director of Technology Services.
Ms. Morton joined ENERGY worldnet, Inc. in January 2012. Lauren will now oversee interactions with EWN's technology partners and serve as a liaison between the customer community and technology team to develop new projects.
