Dear Friends,
I am pleased to announce a new and exciting opportunity to let your voice be heard at STS. Our goal is to imagine together how we can keep growing and improving as a community, and to share with you the possibility of a new model of membership that is closely aligned with our mission as a holy community where all are welcome and encouraged to engage in communal prayer, celebration, ritual and caring for each other.
We've discovered that our dues-based model is a relic of past ways of doing things. The model we wish to explore with you promotes an inclusive, dynamic environment and a sense of shared responsibility for the well-being of our community. We want to hear your voice at our upcoming Community Conversations, listed below. What we learn will be shared with the entire community at our annual Congregational Meeting in June.
PLEASE NOTE: All dates are open to all members. However, we are targeting certain communities based upon what we think might work best with your schedules. Here are the dates for upcoming Community Conversations:
January 24, 2016: for JLC Parents (and others): 9:30-11:30 a.m.
January 27, 2016: for ECEC Parents (and others): 9-10:30 a.m.
January 31, 2016: for General Congregation: 5:30 - 7 p.m.
February 7, 2016: for JLC Parents (and others): After WWWrap at 10:30 a.m.
February 8, 2016: Men's Club
February 9, 2016: General Congregation: 7:45 p.m.
February 24, 2016: for Grades 9-12 (tentative date-to be finalized)
