TONNESEN GRAFFITI |

Caught this guy in the alley tagging our wall. Decided to make him a partner in a new venture, "Tonnesen Graffiti" as his name is Pau Tonnesen.

He did the Warhol piece and the City of Tempe came over the next day, without a 10 day notice to abate, and painted over it.
I wanted to do something six months ago with graphics on the plywood wall by the pool at Rothko with no money so we tried cheap, 20 lb bond, black and white copies and put these up with old fashioned flour paste. Looked ok for a couple of months then yuk. |

I had Pau paint these directly onto the plywood. Total cost for six images was $150 ($100 labor, $50 materials). |
