Once again Christmas is upon us and I am sure many of you, like us, are making the final preparations to enjoy the festive season.
Most importantly all of us at Innovar would like to "Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year". As usual instead of sending cards we are making a donation to charity. We will look at how some of the well known Excel issues, such as spreadsheet sparsity and requirements for multiple sheets and workbooks, don't exist with Anaplan and how building an efficient model becomes just second nature. Home Start Snowflake Appeal
As has been the custom in previous years it is Innovar's intention to make a donation to charity instead of sending Christmas cards. This year we are donating to the Home Start Snowflake Appeal which is a very worthy cause.
Home-Start's aim is to help parents through times of poverty, illness, family breakdowns, isolation, addiction and physical and mental health issues. There are a number of Home Start groups around the country helping parents in their local community. Home Start recruit and train volunteers, who are usually parents themselves, to visit families at home and offer them informal, friendly and confidential support. On October 10th on a squally Autumnal East Anglian day, Innovar were delighted to support our Insurance broker, Pound Gates at their annual Charity golf day.
Despite the atrocious weather conditions and by all accounts pretty poor golf from Innovar's Richard Jones, the event itself raised over £3,500 towards Pound Gates fund for the Suffolk Community Foundation. The event was covered in the East Anglian Daily Times with the featured pictures being found here: Photos of Charity Golf Day. Richard (who looks like he has no hair!) is in the middle of the page with his guest and keen golfer Steve Wyeth.

Christmas Quiz
Over the festive season, why not take 2 minutes to have a go at our Christmas quiz. It is a general knowledge quiz with 10 questions and all the questions have a loose connection to Christmas.
A winner will be selected at random from all correctly completed Quiz sheets and we will pay £50 into the charity of their choice.
