Much More than a Solo Flight
A TAM Aviation Explorer shares his TAM story
By Rodney Cunningham

Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum (TAM) has helped me with my flight training by offering me a place to come everyday, and enhance my knowledge in the world of aviation. TAM has given me the opportunity to fly solo in a Cessna 152.  As of today, I have 27 hours of flight training and 8 hours of solo flight time. The opportunity given to me to solo was like a dream come true. When I'm flying solo I feel like I can conquer the world and everything that is put in front of me.

TAM isn't just a place to come and learn to fly. The volunteers and staff at TAM help me by showing me I can be a successful person in this community. TAM has helped me with my grades by offering tutors that come after school to help me with my school work so I can get better grades in school. The volunteers and staff at TAM encouraged me to bring my lowest grade up and keep it up. Before TAM my GPA was a 2.5. Now that I come to TAM and get help, I have a 3.0 GPA and rising everyday.
