Yes, it is still summer! We still have several months left to enjoy colorful annuals and tropicals, but at the same time you should start to consider your fall and winter garden. Continue enjoying your summer plantings until they begin to fade away in the next several months. Begin now by adding fall items to your containers and gardens, removing those annuals that are "not up to snuff" and begin transitioning into the more muted

You might consider a new fall planting area or simply a new container of asters and chrysanthemums, huecheras & sage or even a rosemary planting for the upcoming fall season.
