This years Seafair celebration coincides with the beginning of our annual perennial sale! All of our perennials are on sale, including the herbs and ground covers. With our summer annuals also on sale at 50% Off, we have a lot of great plants to choose from. The brugmansia's are budded and many have brilliant blooms. If you are wanting great color and fragrance, this is a fun choice. Although considered tropical in nature, they are easy to keep over the winter. We suggest leaving them in a container, then in the late fall, simply cut them back, reduce watering and store them in an area that will stay above freezing. We also have a very good supply of Orange Cestrum and Cestrum Nocturnum. We think that the Cestrum Nocturnum (Evening scented Jasmine) may be one of the most fragrant flowers in the world! The fragrance comes alive after 5!

This is a great opportunity to get your favorite perennials on sale before they are gone for the season. It is still a great time to plant. Just remember to water thoroughly when planting. Remember too, that a good mulch can save both time and watering expense. Come in and find some cool plants for your own weekend celebrations!

Water Your Tomatoes & Baskets

We are having a magnificent tomato growing season! With the warm weather it is important to check your containers and baskets daily for water. Watch for limp or curled leaves and stems. Even in the overcast weather, and especially in a breeze, your plants will continue to loose moisture. This process is called transpiration. Be aware, pay attention and replenish the loss and you will have the happiest and best looking plants ever!
