Performing Arts Studio West will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year with a musical extravaganza fund raiser on Friday, May 3rd at the beautiful 500 seat Armstrong Theater in Torrance, CA. This new show is called RECOVERED, a musical and theatrical experience, starring PASW actor Nick Daley, who currently appears as recurring character Rodney Jackson, on the new FX sitcom LEGIT. RECOVERED features freshly realized versions of popular rock and pop songs performed by singers, dancers and actors with developmental disabilities. Songs reflect the hearts, minds and dreams of the often marginalized community served by PASW.
Powerful, innovative versions of these songs, arranged by PASW Music Director Joe Seabe, include the music of Radiohead, The Doors, Annie Lennox, The Beatles, Edie Brickell, The Police, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Duran Duran, The Animals, Sly and the Family Stone and more.
