From 10 AM to noon on Saturday, April 25, Blackford County Concerned Citizens is hosting a public information workshop at Hartford City Hall with refreshments to follow.

IPFW Mapping Project Underway

Students from Dr. Sherrie Steiner's class at IU-Purdue Fort Wayne this semester are bringing the university's resources to BCCC's aid.  They are using the university's ArcGIS mapping software to build a multi-layered map of the county's industries decade by decade starting in 1880.  They will present their work at the workshop April 25.
BCCC on YouTube
The Hoosier Environmental Council's talented videographer, Ryan McCracken of Boss Nacho Productions, helped BCCC tell the story of our soil testing project.  It is just 3 ½ minutes.  Check it out here.
Well Testing

We still have a few more spots available for free well testing, but we need to hear from you by February 25.  The state health lab will be testing for more than 20 different potential contaminants.

Please contact Dr. Indra Frank, ifrank@hecweb.orgif you have a well near one of the old oil/gas drilling sites or one of the old dump sites and you would like to have your water tested.
