School Picture Days are Coming

Senior Picture Day will be Thursday, 9/3

All seniors must be photographed to be included in the yearbook and on the senior composite. No one is obligated to purchase pictures.
Males need to wear collared shirts and females need to wear a nice blouse/top. No t-shirts. Dress code must be followed.
Please avoid wearing green.

Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors . . . Picture Day will be Friday, 9/11

Women's Golf Update

The girls golf team is recruiting new players. If anyone is interested please stop by Room 216 during school or contact Katie Wilson at katie.wilson@kenton.kyschools.us.

Academic Team Update

Quick Recall practice will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4 PM. For more information, see Mr. Girard in Room 313. First practice is Thursday, 8/27.

Pioneer Pride Needs YOU!

Homecoming is coming up and Pioneer Pride is looking for interested students to contribute ideas and help plan Homecoming.

The group will meet weekly in Room 207 until Homecoming.

Student Council

Student Council will meet the first and second Thursday of every month throughout the school year in the Library Media Center from 2:40 - 3:30.

The first meeting is Thursday, 9/3. ALL grades are welcome. See Miss Hoerlein in Room 207 if you have questions.

New Teacher Feature: AMY TRAUTH

[We will be introducing our new teachers weekly in Simon Says.]

AMY TRAUTH is an Ohio native from Franklin, which is north of Cincinnati. She is in her 19th year of teaching, working 7 years in Ohio before coming to Kentucky where she taught for 11 years in Grant County.

Mrs. Trauth teaches Spanish in SK's World Languages Department. She said, "I love exposing students to different cultures and teaching them to communicate in Spanish."

"I am excited to be a part of the Pioneer family," she said, "and to be a part of our incredible school spirit." She added that she is a sports fanatic.

Little known facts about Mrs. Trauth? She's a professional photographer and also loves to travel. She also has a 3-year-daughter.
