BUFFALO WILD WINGS FUNDRAISER FOR THE ACADEMIC TEAM ON TUESDAY, APRIL 14 to help fund their trip to Nationals.

MAP Testing window for grades 9 & 10 will be April 9 - May 1.  Students will be tested in the areas of reading, language usage and mathematics.

YEARBOOK INFORMATION . . . You can share your photos with the yearbook staff for POSSIBLE inclusion in the yearbook by using Balfour Image Share, a free app for iPhones or SmartPhones.  Our number is 504605 and the password is 2015SKyearbook.    

The 2015 Pioneer is on sale through April.  Books may be purchased at www.smart-pay.com.  The staff does NOT order extra yearbooks, so this is your opportunity to purchase a book.

From the Counseling Office . . . 
Piner Elementary school is requesting students to participate in creating a garden. Students are needed on the following dates: 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, and 5/26 from 3:45 to 4:45. If you are interested in participating, stop by the guidance office to sign up.

THE KCEA Scholarship applications are available in the counseling office.  If you are the son or daughter of a KCEA member, you are eligible to apply.

to complete the free financial aid form for college.  

 

IC STUDENT PORTAL has been turned on. From the SK webpage or the district webpage: Go to Infinite Campus and click on student/parent log in. The student username will be the student's state ID number. The student's password will be the: first name initial, last name initial, and six digit birth date. You will be forced to change your password once you log on. Please make sure you put a copy of the password in a secure location.  This process must be completed on a computer, not a mobile device. Once the set up is completed, the student can set up the apps on mobile devices.

Wednesday, April 29 @ 6 PM

Grade teams and a staff team will compete for charity (hence the name "Hungry Man.")

NEW BOARD POLICY
No Smoking Sign Red and White sign with words No Smoking and cigarette symbol on a brick wall
At the March 2, 23015 Kenton County School District Board of Education Meeting, the Board passed a new Board Policy making the Kenton County School District a TOBACCO-FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT. 

A 100% Tobacco-Free policy prohibits the use of tobacco by staff, students and visitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
inside Board-owned buildings or vehicles, on school property and during school-related trips and events.
