NEW BOARD POLICY
|
At the March 2, 23015 Kenton County School District Board of Education Meeting, the Board passed a new Board Policy making the Kenton County School District a TOBACCO-FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT.
A 100% Tobacco-Free policy prohibits the use of tobacco by staff, students and visitors
24 hours a day, 7 days a week inside Board-owned buildings or vehicles, on school property and during school-related trips and events.

Tennis & Track Updates
|  Congratulations to the women's tennis team on starting the season 3-0. The team has defeated Holy Cross, Campbell County and St. Henry. The doubles teams of Olivia Bowling/Payton Hamilton and Natalie Hahn/Lauryn Reckner remain undefeated.
The women's varsity track & field team won the Villa Academy "Relay For Life" Invitational, defeating a strong field of 13 Northern Kentucky schools. The team was led by MacKenzie Lachmann, Meredith Hiles, Anja Arlinghaus and Sophia Delisio.
The men's varsity track & field team finished 2nd place at the Villa Academy "Relay For Life" Invitational. The team was led by Banner Napier, Logan Winkler and Adam Myers.

CONGRATULATIONS to the ACADEMIC TEAM for their recent state tournament appearance. The team was knocked out in round 2. Congratulations to Tristan Feinauer, Kyle Casson, Ashton Mallory, Chelsea Russell, Sam Roberts and Nolan Warning. In written assessment, Kyle Casson finished 18th in the state in social studies. The team begins practice for Nationals, which is just two months away.
CRAFT ACADEMY Mitchell Grothaus was accepted into Morehead State's Craft Academy. The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics is a dual-credit residential high school which offers a college-level curriculum that allows students to finish high school while also completing up to two years of university coursework.
