REPORT CARDS WERE SENT HOME WITH STUDENTS

ON JANUARY 14 . . . 

BOWLING TEAM GOES TO THE REGIONALS . . . SK will bowl in the regionals @ Bellwood Lanes in Newport.  Singles will bowled on Monday, 1/26 @ 3:30 PM. Vanessa Chessman, Kelsey Isles, Erica Travis and Michelle Thomas will represent the women's team. Brian Fecher, Cody Hail, Jake Bowling and 8th grader Jonathan Cummins from Twenhofel will represent the men's team.  

The team regionals will be Wednesday, 1/28.  Women's start time is 3:20 PM and the men's start time is 5 PM.  

$5 for adults / $3 for students.


ANY JUNIOR INTERESTED IN PLANNING PROM . . . there will be a meeting after school on Wednesday, 1/29 in Room 203 with Mrs. Stephanie Schneider.

WRESTING TEAM WINS 7th CONSECUTIVE KENTON COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP . . . 

several of the wrestlers had clutch wins that aided in the victory and contributed to future seedings. The team defeated Dixie 63-15 and then Scott 45-30.

The SK Ski/Snowboarding Club would like to invite you and your family to join us for a day on the slopes.

Place: Perfect North Slopes

Date: January 25

Time: 9:30 AM - 6 PM (you don't have to stay the whole time)

Cost:  Lift/Tubing Ticket - $33.00  (8 hour ticket)

            Ski Rental - $15.00

            Food - $2.00

            Ski/Snowboarding Lessons:  FREE!

MUSIC ACCOLADES

A big congratulations goes to Evan Sterner and Sydney Egan for auditioning and being selected to the Northern Kentucky Select Band!  Way to go!  Select Band is January 29-31. 

 

Congratulations to the following students for making the Northern Kentucky University Band Symposium: Rachel Baker, Alexis Bene, Josie Boswell, David Chi, Olivia Crosby, Garrett Farwick, Sean Gardner, Courtney Hellmann and Erica Travis.  The NKU Band Symposium is January 23-24. 

 

The University of Louisville Honors Band is also January 23-24 and we have Evan Sterner, Bronson  Area, Joseph Richard and Morgan Boggs attending.

NEED SERVICE HOURS?  St. Patrick Church on Mills Road in Independence needs assistance during the Lenten season with the Friday fish fry. 

Shifts begin at 4 PM and conclude through clean-up.  Hours can be split.
