Proud of Our Pioneers

The varsity baseball and softball teams are both DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!  Congratulations!  Regional draws will take place later this week. 

 

The boys track & field team qualified 14 in 10 events at the KHSAA State Championship Meet.  The girls track & field team qualified one in 2 events.  Grant Vercheak finished 4th in the discus.  Christina Cook finished 5th in the 400 meter dash.  Brent Russell finished 9th in the 300 meter hurdles.  Logan Winkler finished 10th in the high jump.

 

Congratulations to Sarah Setters -- she received a proficient rating at the state solo and ensemble festival.  Sarah is the first SK student to participate at this level.

 

Congratulations to the SK Band . . . during the recent Music in the Parks Competition at Kings High School, the concert band finished wiht a score of 78 and "good" rating.  The symphonic band earned an "excellent" with a score  of 89.  The symphonic band was also named "Most Outstanding High School Band" for the competition.  Way to go!!!
