Best of luck to the Geneva High School Varsity Dance Team as they head to the IHSA State Finals this weekend. The Vikings won the Class 2A sectional championship Jan. 23. Go Blue!

The Geneva Plan Commission will continue its public hearing to Thursday, March 10 for the proposed development of the former Cetron site at Seventh & State streets.

The City has created a project webpage containing renderings, studies, letters to the Plan Commission and other information regarding the proposed 219-unit apartment building.

ComEd To Conduct Tree Trimming


Commonwealth Edison will be trimming trees in various sections of Geneva from January to March.

While the City operates its own electric utility, there are ComEd power lines that run through Geneva, including to our substations. ComEd has provided the City with maps where they will be trimming trees within the community.

Important News About Electronics Recycling

Geneva's electronics recycling collection site is now closed. Please do not drop off your old devices at our Public Works Department.

Changes made by Kane County's electronics recycling vendor has resulted in the closing of the collection site Dec. 15.

The County's program is continuing in St. Charles with two locations to recycle your unwanted electronics.
