Join us for an exciting evening of fashion and shopping. The NHWBA is partnering with Dress for Success to hold a clothing swap of gently used professional clothing. A large amount of professional clothing has been donated and will be sold at the event for only $5.00 per item. In addition to a fabulous selection of clothing and shoes, there will also be several vendors on hand including: Scarves by Sandra, 31 Gifts, Mary Kay, Salon K, Pampered Chef and Northeast Photo Booth. We are also very pleased to offer the tailoring services of Krystal Hoskins at a discounted rate.
Proceeds and donations from the event benefit Dress for Success, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and tools to thrive in work and in life.
Please note that White Street will be blocked off tonight because of an event in Concord. The best places to park are in the parking lots on Washington Street or Rumford Street. These parking lots are Lots 1 and 2 on this map. Please enter the law school through the Rudman entrance off Washington Street.
If you have questions about this event, please contact our Public Service Chair, Lindsey Gray at lgray@arbd.com.

| Please Donate to the Marilla Ricker Portrait Fund |
The right to practice law was not always available to women. In 1890, women were not allowed to practice law in New Hampshire even if they were licensed in another state. Attorney Marilla Ricker changed all that. She filed a highly controversial lawsuit in the NH Supreme Court challenging the exclusionary practice of admitting only men to the practice of law...and won! Petition of Ricker, 66 N.H. 207 (1890). There are only seven portraits of women hanging in the NH State House. In 2013, legislation was passed requisitioning a portrait of Marilla Ricker, albeit without state funding. The NHWBA and the League of Women Voters NH have collaborated to raise funds to complete the Ricker portrait. We are off to a great start, but we still have a long way to go! As you think about what your career means to you, please consider donating to the Marilla Ricker Portrait Fund. To review a brochure about the fundraising efforts, click here.
