Alice Lee, Acclaimed Lawyer and Sister of "To Kill a Mockingbird" Author Harper Lee Dies at 103

There are some people in this world who love being a lawyer. Alice Lee was one of them.  She died on November 18, 2014 at the age of 103, but continued to work eight hours a day at the Monroeville, Alabama law office started by her father, A.C. Lee until she was at least 99 years old.  A.C. Lee is considered to be the model for Atticus Finch in "To Kill a Mockingbird."  To see photos of Alice Lee in her office, click here.
