The NHWBA has partnered with the Webster-Batchelder and Gujarsa American Inns of Court, the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and the New Hampshire Bar Association to present a free comprehensive two-part program on mentoring to promote professionalism and excellence in the practice of law.
Session I: Mentor Training - Open to all members of the NHWBA, Webster-Batchelder and Gujarsa Inns of Court and NHBA Mentors
When: Tuesday, October 7, 2014
Time: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Sign-in opens at 5:00 p.m.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cash bar will be provided.
Topics to be addressed in this session will include the importance of mentoring to the legal profession, common ethical issues faced by less experienced practitioners, and practical tips and skills for effective mentoring. The program will be submitted for 1.5 hours of CLE credits (.5 ethics), and will be followed by a social.
Session II: Speed Mentoring
When: Tuesday, October 14, 2014
Time: 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. for 1Ls
6:15 - 7:30 p.m. for 2Ls and 3Ls
