Greetings!
How quickly it seems that the holidays have descended upon us!
It seems we are always busy, but this is especially so during the hectic holiday season, as we do our best to juggle work commitments, social commitments, networking commitments, family commitments, and of course, find a few spare minutes here and there to take care of ourselves. As we referenced in last month's newsletter, Matt Cairns, a Shareholder and Director at Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell, P.C. in Concord wrote an article titled "Make Time for You, Too: Finding the Right Balance," which was originally published in the DRI publication For the Defense in May of 2010. This article discusses the ongoing battles of time management and work-life balance. We are attaching a link to the article here, and we hope that you enjoy reading it.
If you are looking for ways to meet your networking and personal development commitments, we can offer some fun and rewarding ways to fill your plate! You can visit our website at www.nhwba.org for a full slate of upcoming events, but I would like to take a moment to highlight just one for you, and it won't take up any of your time during the busy holiday season.
Join us to unwind and re-energize for the new year on January 9, 2013 at our annual post-holiday party! Light fare and wine will be provided. Because the holidays are not the only time funds are needed by local charities, the NHWBA will be accepting donations for the Nashua Children's Home. RSVPs are not required for this event but are appreciated. Please see our website for more details, and email Gretchen Pyles if you plan to attend.
On behalf of the entire Board of the NHWBA, I would like to wish you and yours a very happy and healthy holiday season!
Best regards,
Holly J. Kilibarda, President
New Hampshire Women's Bar Association
