New Development in Plastic Technology Program at Schoolcraft

This fall, Schoolcraft College will launch a Plastic Technology Skills Certificate. Through this program, students may earn 16 college credits and be on their way to an associate degree and a promising career in the plastics industry. Our program combines classes in plastic materials and processing, mathematics, machining and quality for a thorough understanding of the technology used to produce products efficiently and with the highest quality. The skills certificate is the first step in creating stackable credentials including a one year certificate program, a two year associate degree, and an articulation agreement with 4 year universities allowing students to transfer their credits to pursue bachelor's degree in plastic technology or other technology fields.
