In April, we will be holding the 2014 CUNY/Daily News Citizenship NOW! Call-in. With each year that passes this event continues to grow and expand. Our Director Allan Wernick writes about the call-in and how this year we hope to increase the number of people helped. Read Allan's column for more information.
What's Happening at CUNY Citizenship Now
Recent Events:
We recently held two Citizenship Application Assistance Events in February. On February 8, we teamed up with MOIA to offer a NYCitizenship event in Brooklyn. We helped 104 participants, out of which 74 completed their application for naturalization. Click here to view photos of this event. On February 22, we held our second event in Manhattan, At this event we assisted 44 participants and the event was featured in an article with the Manhattan Times which you can read here.

Part 8.3 of the revised Form N-400 asks you to list all trips of 24 hours or more an applicant has taken abroad in the past five years."
True or False? You do not need to list trips more than five (or three) years ago because by statute the applicant for naturalization need only demonstrate trips outside the United States for her/his statutory period of continuous residence.
