The Knightdale Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2014 Large/Small Business of the Year Awards. We encourage self- nominations. Completing this application should be an exercise in reviewing your business' strengths, opportunities and challenges. This process can help you identify and share benefits of your brand and assets within your organization. Participation in this nomination process is a positive experience not only for you as the business owner, but for your employees as well. Take advantage of this opportunity to gain additional feedback on successes from your customer base. All nominees will receive valuable branding exposure in the community as well as within the membership. The Chamber will list all nominees on the event page, E-communicator and Annual Event Program. Applications will be accepted until Jan. 31, 2014 and will be announced at the Annual Banquet on Feb. 27th. Make plans now to attend.
Citizen of the Year is an award sponsored by the Town of Knightdale and the Knightdale Chamber of Commerce. Being named Citizen of the Year is more about a "state of mind" and less about a single act completed. This person makes conscious decision to do... to act... to change current situations with the ability to get others to see beyond the right now and inspire them to make change happen. Citizen of the Year is about being a catalyst for constant change for the betterment of Knightdale and its people. Does this remind you of anyone? If so, nominate that person for Citizen of the Year. Nominations will end Jan. 31, 2014. The winner will be announced at the Chamber's Annual Banquet with the award presented by the Mayor of Knightdale.
