Lights Out for Sea Turtles: May-October | |
Some of our most famous visitors have arrived for the summer! Loggerhead Sea Turtles are in the waters around the Isle of Palms and crawling on the beach at night to nest. Be Careful of RIP Currents
RIP Currents can be deadly. Always be very careful in the water. If you get caught in a RIP current, so not fight the current, swim out of the current to the side and then swim to shore, float or tread water if you can not escape the current, and wave or call for help. |
