The City greatly appreciates the volunteers who lend their expertise to the boards and commissions that serve the City. Please submit an application by August 30, 2013 to serve beginning January 2014.

Community Wellness Fair: Sept. 26
The first 100 residents at the Community Wellness Fair will recieve a FREE comprehensive lipid profile. Fasting is required for the profile and appointments are recommended; call 843-884-7031. The Fair is 7:00 a.m.-11 a.m. on Thursday, September 26 at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center at 24 28th Avenue. Also available at the Fair will be flu shots and information and screenings from specialists and professionals, including cardiovascular, chiropractic, dental, dermatology, family medicine, fitness clubs, gastroenterology, hearing, neck and back, nutrition, OB/GYN, optometry, orthopedic, and physical therapy. |

City issues Request for Bids on Surplus Vehicles and Marina Fuel Dispencer Replacement
The City has issued Requests for Bids on three surplus vehicles:
1) red 2009 Yamaha personal watercraft
2) blue 2009 Yamaha personal watercraft
3) white 2004 Ford Explorer SUV
