OCRM Public Hearing on City's Shoal Scraping Permit:

The SCDHEC-OCRM has scheduled a public hearing on application P/N# 2010-1041-21G, City of Isle of Palms, to increase the number of sand scraping events from two to four over the life of the permit and to change the expiration date of the SCDHEC-OCRM permit to coincide with the Department of the Army permit, which is March 31, 2017.  The City would still be limited to the total volume of sand that can be scraped and transferred over the life of the permit which is a maximum of 500,000 cubic yards and would also be limited to the allowable volume of sand scraping during any one event, which is 250,000 cubic yards.  All interested persons are urged to attend and voice their comments on the project on public notice. 

Summer Camp Registration begins
March 18 for IOP Residents

Summer Camp 1 

Registration for Camp Summmershine for ages 5-7 and 8-12 and Wee Camp for ages 3-4 starts on March 18 for IOP residents and March 25 for everyone. Registration will be open until the camps are full. Each week has a fun theme, including Rock Stars, Pirates, Whirling Waters, Hawaiian Heaven, Dodgeball, Sweet Treats,  Adventures and Talent Shows.
