My Christmas Wish For You!

Week 51 2013

I'm going to take a chance this festive season when passing on to you my Christmas wishes and ask you just to have a little think as to what you truly celebrate at this time of year and why?

For in celebrating Christmas we commemorate the birth of a baby, a baby that would eventually go on to become the leading prophet of one of the major monotheistic religions of the world. At the start of his life however, he was just as much a baby as you or I.

Many different people have many different ways of viewing religion. A great many for instance will view a prophet like Jesus as being above themselves, placing that person on a pedestal as something or someone to look up to, to aspire to be like, or to worship, perhaps due to the way that we have been conditioned to believe.

In one way this is a good thing, but in another way it isn't. For in worshiping others we in fact give away our own power to that entity. For the message Jesus as well as all the other prophets want to bring to us all, in my opinion, is our own ability to be that good, to be that prophet like in whatever we do and most authentically align to.

Jesus reflects back to us a potential that lies within us to access our own highest self, to do good with the work that we do and how we are in the world. To act out of love rather than that of fear. To be kind to one another as what today's video seeks to enable us to do also, as well as to find the path that is most true to us!

So when you celebrate Christmas this year I would urge you to honour your own birth and life too, for you are equally as worthy to be alive on the Earth today and contributing to the evolution of the planet as anyone that has passed by this way before you.

In the bible there are many prophecies of the second coming when Jesus or the Messiah comes back to the Earth to save our souls, it is my belief however that this power exists within every one of us that is alive today and we ourselves make up that second coming and we therefore are the ones we are waiting for, once we start to re-establish our own power, realise our own potential and rediscover our own ROAR!

All the prophets in their journeys to enlightenment be that Jesus, Mohamed, Moses or the Buddha all immersed themselves in nature to find out who they truly were in order to bring their own message back to the world. If we can only find that reconnection to nature ourselves again and follow the same 5 essential stages to fulfillment as what these prophets did for themselves, then I believe there is hope for us all.
