Everyone at AJF extends their condolences to the people of Paris for the violence that took place a couple of days ago. We are relieved to report that Benjamin Lignel, AJF's editor, and his family are fine, as is Aude Medori, one of AJF's new ambassadors--more information about this new program below. We hope that the many makers who live in the east of Paris, their friends, and their families are all well and send them our best.
The AJF Artist Award is now closed. There were many excellent submissions this year and we look forward to the jury's selection of the five finalists.
Art Jewelry Forum is pleased to announce a new initiative for broader global community. We are appointing individuals in cities and countries that have an art jewelry scene
as volunteer ambassadors for AJF. This recognizes the active role of the individual in the art jewelry network and the ambassadors will help AJF to reflect what is happening globally. Check it out
There is just a week left for AJF's community of supporters and readers to raise the funds to receive a matching grant
of $10,000 from the Rotasa Foundation. Help AJF continue to publish valuable insights--from all over the world--on our website. Donations from $5 to $50 to $500 will go a long way to helping us meet this challenge.
