SEPTEMBER 15,
2015
Greetings!

AJF is always looking for new writers to keep our content fresh and interesting. You can read all about it in this article that our editor, Benjamin Lignel, wrote to make AJF's approach to writing more clear and accessible--with a link to our website standards for a more formal breakdown.

Have Pen, Will Report?
On Writing for AJF
by Benjamin Lignel

Right now, AJF is specifically looking for writers interested in interviewing artists. We publish around six artist interviews a month and currently have a team of interviewers, including Susan Cummins, Bonnie Levine, Olivia Shih--with Kamal Nassif, Kellie Riggs, and Missy Graff pitching in on occasion--to make that happen.

Sound like your cup of tea? If so, email me the following information:
  • Your location
  • Your level of schooling or the name of the school if you are currently enrolled
  • Why you want to do artist interviews for AJF
  • A writing sample
  • A list of questions you think artists should be asked
Priority will be given to students and graduates of AJF supporter schools.

So if researching a jeweler's life and work, generating a list of questions, and participating in an email exchange with the artist sounds exciting, please reach out.

Xo,
