take this fun psychology test

There are 5 things going on simultaneously which need to be taken care of:

1. The telephone is ringing.
2. The baby is crying.
3. Someone rings the front doorbell.
4. There is laundry hanging outside and it begins to rain.
5. The water faucet in the kitchen is running.

In what order to you take care of these issues? Jot them down in order. Each decision represents something in your life. See the bottom of the newsletter to find out what it all means!

3 Keys to Effective Training Sessions

Do these every time!

1. OPEN your session by setting the context. What are the expected learning outcomes? Why is this training occurring now? Why are these specific participants in the room? How will the training help them?

2. DURING the session:

  • Introduce each topic before diving in.
  • Design smooth transitions between topics.
  • Check for understanding on each topic before moving to the next.

3. AT THE END

Turn each learning outcome into a test question (e.g. "Please name the five essential elements of..."). Ask small groups to come up with the correct answers. Groups can also create their own questions, based on the material, to ask other groups.
