CHERIE RUSK, OUR OUTCOME-BASED AGENDA WINNER
We received responses from Alaska to New York City to our October contest, in which we challenged you to submit an example of an Outcome-Based Agenda used in an actual meeting. First, THANKS to all who competed! The committee had a big job, and ultimately chose Cherie Rusk, of the Lewis County (WA) Board of Health Advisory Committee, as the winner of the $25 Starbucks gift certificate. Here are her meeting outcomes for a one-hour meeting. (Note Cherie's use of the future perfect tense for her verbs.) By the end of this meeting, we will have: - Learned more about the Boistfort Fire Dept. septic system issue.
- Discussed membership renewal and/or replacements.
- Discussed the draft of the food program policies and established the next steps for the review process.
CONGRATULATIONS, Cherie, and thanks to the dozens of others who competed. Here's to more focused, outcome-driven meetings! Learn more about outcome-based agendas. |
