We want to wish all our readers, crop attendees and future crop attendees a very happy and healthy New Year, and thank you for your support through 2015.

With the coming of the new year, I'm sure you all have New Year's resolutions and promises to yourselves to reach new goals, to do better throughout the year. We hope that you will consider adding a resolution of more paper crafting in your life. We can all agree that it is a rejuvenating hobby! Also, consider adding Crops Plus Crops to your activities!

New Changes Coming to Crops Plus
2016 is going to be a great year!
I have been doing Crops Plus for over 5 years now. I am extremely grateful for your friendship and attendance at the crops. Some of the things we offer, as special Crops Plus only perks, are:
  • Porter service on Fridays
  • Dessert buffets
  • 10% discount to those that register for all the crops in a calendar year
  • A chance for those who attend every crop to win a free crop
  • Surprise gifts and giveaways

I am always looking for ways to make things better. One of the things that will be changing in 2016 is our door prizes. In the past, we would give away about 70 door prizes in a weekend worth $3-$5 each. It was hard coming up with small prizes and we knew we could do better. So this year (and I am SO excited about this!), instead of giving away 70 door prizes in a weekend, we will give away 40. BUT, they will be worth about $15 each! Bigger and better prizes! We've already purchased many of them and know you are going to LOVE them.
Crop for a Cure
A worthwhile cause!
One of our partners at Scraps Marketplace is Crop for a Cure down in Fredricksburg. They are a charity crop with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. They are doing a good and worthwhile thing and so I am sharing their information here. Please consider joining them!

Our 11th Annual Crop for a Cure is open for registration! Our 10th Annual Crop shattered records with a record setting amount of $57,000 sent to St. Jude Children's Research hospital, making our ten year net total $173,300! This was made possible by our generous participants, vendors, sponsors, and alumnae chapter members. Thank you on behalf of the children of St. Jude and the members of the Fredericksburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Delta Delta!
 
We are THRILLED to announce that this year's crop will be held over two days, Friday, August 12th from 3pm - 10pm and Saturday, August 13th, from 8am - 10pm. We are excited that Fredericksburg Academy has agreed to host our Crop for the second year in a row and they are located at 10800 Academy Drive in Fredericksburg. The crop will include: Queen of the Crop, Vendors, demonstrations, make and takes, hourly door prizes, incredible raffles and our highlight of the day ~ our silent auction! Dinner on Friday evening and breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and drinks will be served so PLEASE come hungry!!
