We are just 3 days from our final 2015 crop. We have had a very good and eventful year! Registration for our 2016 events has already begun. Please see below for more details. This month marks the 5th anniversary that Crops Plus came under new ownership. As we continue to improve our crops and the experience for you, we want to sincerely thank each of you for your support and thank those who have discovered or rediscovered our crops.  2015 was such a success, we are doing it again!
Many of you turned out of the inaugural Scraps Marketplace event on October 3. Despite the rain from Hurricane Joaquin, we had a great turn out! The vendor fair, yard sale and classes were a huge success. Mirella and I could not be happier with how it turned out. With that, we would like to announce that we have signed contracts for a 2016 date in the same beautiful location with wonderful classrooms. Get excited and start preparing now! 2016 Registration
Some changes to the process

In September, we opened registration for our January event and it quickly sold out! We also opened up registration for those interested in joining us for all four events at a 10% discount. As a result, the April, September and November events are 25% sold out as well. Please note that registration for other dates will not open until 4 months before each date, so April general registration will open December 21.
The prices for the 2016 crops will remain the same! $250/weekend. There will however, be two changes. 1) At the crops previously you could register for all future events. For 2016, you will only be able to register for the next two. That means at the November crop, you will be able to register for the January wait list and the April crop (before it opens to the public). 2) There will be a strict enforcement of the deposit requirement (50% due within two weeks of registration) and you will need to click the box showing acceptance of that before registering. Thanks for understanding and we look forward to seeing you in 2016!

Over the past few years, it has become a tradition that the Grand Prize at the November Crop has been a FREE CROP for the following year. And who are we to mess with a good thing? The winner will receive a certificate for a free crop in 2016, provided the crop still has seats available or they can clear the wait list. :)
We are also going to be giving out Thank You gifts, door prizes, passport winners, contest prizes and a special surprise in honor of our 5th anniversary! About $3,500 worth of gifts! You'll be so glad if you are joining us!

Our January event is sold out, but we have a very short wait list and there is almost a certainty of cancellations. If you would like to join us for the weekend, now is the time to register for the wait list.

 WE DID IT! We have reached our $600 goal! Last year, we donated over $600 to Bethany House and you have helped us reach that goal again by buying a Crops Plus tee shirt. THANK YOU! All of the proceeds will go to Bethany House, a domestic violence shelter in Northern Virginia. Bethany House was organized to help women and their children who have suffered from domestic violence regain health and dignity and become re-established in their community by providing temporary housing and support.
