Welcome all to Heart Month! Of course, there is the usual Valentines Day, but why not extend it into the whole month of February. Take the time to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you with some homemade paper crafting! It's a great chance to show off our skills!

February Scrapbooking Tip
The latest and greatest at the CHA Trade ShowAs many of you know, the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) had their annual trade show in Mid-January. Thousands of new items were released. There is SO much fun stuff on the way! January Crop - A Huge Success
Thanks to all who attended!
The January crop is barely over and my buzz is still going! We had so much fun scrapping and eating and meeting new friends. We gave away over $2,400 in prizes and gifts.
Congratulations to Leslie Cradlin and Melissa Varney who won our layout contests! They each won Cropper Hopper Paper Organizers.
We can't wait to do it again in April - just 2 months away! We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again.

 A special congratulations goes to Pam Luttner, who won our Grand Prize at the January crop. This adorable wheeled tote from We R Memory Keepers as well as lots of other storage items. A $190 value! Pam is a long time and regular attendee, so we are excited to give this to her.
 Also, I have been neglectful and failed to mention our passport winner from November! For the past three years, we had a "Passport" program for all those that attend all of our crops. All you had to do was get our vendors to sign your passport at every crop and at the end of the year; you could win a free crop! The lovely Barb Treese (a staple at all Crops Plus crops) won just this last year. Congratulations, Barb!

April Grand Prize
Something that often comes up when I ask for advice on the grand prizes (and if you have ideas, please feel free to email them to me at Cropsplus@ourcropsplus.com!) is to give away items that may be costly, so it may not be something people have. As a special 'Thank You' to the croppers who attend each event, we allow them to register for any and all future events. That means that sometimes the crops can sell out before they are open to the public. That happens to be the case for the rest 2014 events! All of them are now sold out.
We are so grateful for the continued support and loyalty. We work very hard to make sure we provide a fun and enjoyable crop. I take your suggestions seriously and hope to give you the best that I can do. So THANK YOU!

April Crop + Annual Food Drive!
Will you help?
We have been truly blessed to enjoy a hobby we love and friends (new and old) to share it with. To give a little bit back, every year, we hold a food drive at the April Crop. You can win special tickets for every item that you bring! Those raffle tickets will put you in the running to win a special prize worth $50!
We will be donating the food to Link, INC, a charity that exists to provide emergency food to people in need in the Herndon, Sterling, and Ashburn, Virginia communities.
More information on what items Link, INC is looking for will be sent to each registered cropper with details. Here is a picture of some of the food we were able to donate last year, over 400 pounds!

Reminder: Holiday Inn Dulles!

I have mentioned a few times here in the newsletter, Facebook and on Twitter, we will be returning to the Holiday Inn Dulles for the April, September and November 2014 crops. I have heard from many of you and feel this change is for the best. The Holiday Inn is now offering a program that I think you will enjoy. The great food you know (and LOVE!) that includes coffee during the evening breaks and a more extensive breakfast on Saturday mornings and the wonderful Sunday brunch.
