We are in the big transition from summer to fall, from the free days of summer to the focus of getting back to school and (hopefully) getting back to work. With moving our focus back indoors, perhaps you are eager to do more scrapbooking (I know I do in the fall and winter).

September Crop A Great Success
Thank you to all who attended!
 We had so much fun at our September crop! It was our first crop after a summer hiatus - a long 5 month wait! The sold-out event was so much fun! We had lot of gifts - giving away more than $1,500 in prizes - ate a little too much, got a lot (or not a lot) done and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
We had a blast; you will too! I hope you will join us soon! |

November Crop
It's sneaking up quickly!
We're so excited for the crop next month. We have lots of good things planned and have been gearing up since the moment the September crop ended.

November Classes
They're coming!
The teachers are busy preparing the classes for next month and will post the classes as soon as they can.

January 2014 Crop SOLD OUT!

Less than three weeks after it opened for registration, our January 2014 crop sold out! We knew that our events were popular, but we had no idea you all liked us THIS much! THANK YOU for your support and business. It means the world to me.

If you are interested in attending all four events, you can do that too! Simply select the option for all four events using the link above. We will register you for April, September and November 2014, as well as the January waitlist. If you clear the January wait list, you will be eligible for 10% discount! (As a side note, this will also get you spots in our other crops for the year that might sell out BEFORE registration opens to the public.)

600 Facebook Fans and Counting!
Almost there!
We are so close to hitting a big milestone this month on our Facebook page - 600 fans! This is really a tremendous moment for us. Since I started doing this almost 3 years ago, I have been so grateful for the support and friendship that has built up along the way. Scrapbooking creates a great community and Crops Plus is so blessed to be a part of it.

2014 Venue Change and Dates
Reminder: Check out the 2014 dates!
I have mentioned a few times here in the newsletter, Facebook and on Twitter that I have been trying to work with the Hyatt to secure 2014 dates, which were to be delayed until September. However, as I have been working towards this goal, it has become clear that staying at the Hyatt after January 2014 is no longer an option. It has not been the experience we had been hoping for.
So with that in mind, we will be returning to the Holiday Inn Dulles for the April, September and November 2014 crops. I had not anticipated a change of venue again and recognize the inconvenience. I thank you for your patience.
It is important to me to provide the best experience I can. I have heard from many of you and feel this change is for the best. The Holiday Inn is now offering a program that I think you will enjoy. The great food you know (and LOVE!) that includes coffee during the evening breaks and a more extensive breakfast on Saturday mornings. You will get the larger 6x3 tables with cloth covers, a dedicated classroom (which was not offered before), $74/night room rates, privacy afforded in a venue with one ballroom and all at a lower price point than what was being offered at the Hyatt. I look forward to finishing out 2013 and January 2014 with Hyatt as our hosts. I hope that you can all look forward to the return to the Holiday Inn Dulles as something that is familiar and known.
More good news is that we can, with this change, announce ALL of our 2014 dates ahead of schedule! The rate for 2014 will only be $235/weekend which includes all meals and a gift of product worth $20-$25 just for coming. Not to mention the great vendors and massage therapist, the door prizes and grand prize!

Registration for APRIL will open on December 2nd, so keep your eyes trained here on the newsletter, on Facebook and on Twitter. This event WILL sell out. So be ready! All other events will open 4 months before the date. And, as always, croppers attending each crop will be able to sign up for any and all future dates as a 'thank you' for your support.
