Greetings!
It's the start of a new 'year'! Things feel renewed and exciting. And here at Crops Plus, we are not the exception. We have so many changes happening and we're very excited to share them with you.
Of most important note is that starting in 2013, we will have a brand new venue for our events! Please read below for all the amazing details.
Also, we are just two short weeks away from our September crop and have some last minute openings for both the full weekend and part time. Again, please read below for more information. We hope that you will join us!

Patterned paper help!
If you are anything like me, patterned paper is your weakness! But I have a hard time storing, organizing (and worse) actually using those papers that I loved so much that I had to buy multiple of them.

New Venue for 2013!
Exciting new changes are in store!
 We had an opportunity over the past few weeks to explore new hotel options in the DC area for the future of Crops Plus. And the exciting news is that we have picked a new hotel location for 2013! Starting with our February crop, our new hotel will be the Hyatt Dulles. Just three miles from our current hotel (The Holiday Inn), located right at the intersection where the Dulles Toll Road and Route 28 meet. We chose to stay in the Dulles area as that seems to work well for our croppers and helps to keep our prices as low as possible. The Hyatt is an almost new facility, built in 2009, that offers many new and luxurious amenities, allowing us to truly give you the premiere cropping experience! Crops Plus is stepping it up! Some of the many benefits of the new location include:
- Ergonomic "18 hour" chairs
- Extended crop times. Crops now end at 4pm on Sundays.
- More food - additional Sunday snack
- Spacious and clean facility washroom
- Dedicated private classroom
- Brewed Starbucks served at meals and snacks
- Vendors all in one room, just across the hall from the crop room
- Massage therapist on the same floor in private room
- Executive suite hotel rooms with sitting areas and pull out sofas for just $89/night
- Ability to book the rooms online through links that will be easily accessible on our website
- Truly gourmet meals with great variety that can be catered to specific needs
- Continued Valet Service
- Temperature controlled environment with purified air and fresh oxygen circulation
- A lovely bar area
- Gorgeous modern facility
- Lap pool with an updated and large gym
- Electricity wired to each table grouping
- Free internet in ballroom and hotel rooms
- Crop room doesn't close (as long as someone still wants to crop!)
- 5 catered buffet meals and 5 snack breaks as well as unlimited soda, water and tea available all day
We are confident that you will love the new facility as much as we do. We've already had several croppers in to look at the space and it has met with their seals of approval. We're very excited about these new changes and hope that you will be able to join us in 2013!

2013 Crops Plus Dates
Please note the new April date!
We are very excited to announce our 2013 dates! All events will be held at the new location, the Hyatt Dulles. Cost of each event is $230, excluding hotel room costs. We had previously discussed a possible 4 day crop and maybe a July crop. Those will not be happening now with the new location change. Also important to note is that our Spring crop date has been moved from May 3-5 to April 19-21. *February 15-17, 2013 (3 days) *April 19-21, 2013 (3 days) *September 20-22, 2013 (3 days) *November 1-3, 2013 (3 days) Online registration will begin 4 months before each event - February 2013 will open at the beginning of October 2012. However, crop attendees can register at each crop for any and all future events at a discount. If 2012 events have shown us anything, it's that these 2013 events WILL sell out! Mark your calendars - we can't wait to see all of you in 2013! |

September Crop Openings
Spots available for all three days or part-time!
We have had a few cancellations over the past few weeks and now have spots available for our September crop. We can accommodate croppers who would like to come the whole weekend or those that would like to attend only part time. The cost for part time registration is $60 for Friday, $115 for Saturday and $50 for Sunday. You can mix and match which days you would like to attend. Those lucky enough to snag a seat at either the September or November crops will be able to register for any and all 2013 crops before registration is open to the public online. |

September Grand Prize

Thanks to all of you who became our fans on Facebook, we reached 400+ followers this month! We're so very proud of Crops Plus and how far we have come.
