I don't know about you, but I LOVE the Olympics. LOVE them! I also can't wait for the NFL season to start. :) Summer is a time of sports and competition all around. From tiny tot youth sports all the way through high school and college, Olympic and professional preparations. Do you have kids that play or do you participate in athletic events? August Scrapbooking Tip
CHA Top 20
Twice a year - once in winter and another in summer - The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) holds a massive convention where professionals in the craft industry can explore the largest selection of craft products under one roof. As you can imagine, scrapbooking vendors feature prominently in these events as it is still one of the largest hobbies in the US.
After the most recent summer convention at the end of July, CHA announced 20 of this summer's hottest products. A panel of celebrity judges selected the "CHA Top 20" from dozens of new craft products entered in the CHA 2012 Summer Conference & Trade Show's Innovations New Product Showcase.

Thanks for an Amazing July Crop!
We had a great turn out and a great group of women!
The July crop is barely over and our buzz is still going! We had so much fun scrapping and eating and meeting new friends. We can't wait to do it again in September - just 6 weeks away! Congrats to Christine Hall, who won our Grand Prize - $100 to any of our wonderful vendors! We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again soon! |

2013 Crops Plus Dates
Exciting New Things Are Coming!
We are very excited to announce our 2013 dates! All events will be held at the Holiday Inn - Dulles in Sterling, our usual fantastic venue. We will have 4 events with the possibility of a 5th summer date in July, 2013. Cost of each event is $230. *February 15-17, 2013 (3 day event. There is a POSSIBILITY that we may offer a 4th day on Monday the 18th as it is a holiday for a lot of people. We are still gauging interest on this and working out details and pricing with the hotel. We are expecting a 4 day event to cost about $320. If you are interested in a 4 day event, please help us to gauge interest by emailing us at cropsplus@ourcropsplus.com) *May 3-5, 2013 (3 days) *Possibly an event in July 13-15, 2013 (3 days. More details to come. Keep your eyes on Facebook and in our newsletter.) *September 20-22, 2013 (3 days) *November 1-3, 2013 (3 days) Online registration will begin 4 months before each event - February 2013 will open at the beginning of October 2012. However, crop attendees can register at each crop for any and all future events. If 2012 events have shown us anything, it's that these 2013 events WILL sell out! Mark your calendars - we can't wait to see all of you in 2013! |
