Emulate REAL disk/tape drives!
By gathering all inquiry/page/profile data from real targets, SANBlaze is able to make virtual targets look like the real device. The device is a close enough copy that the virtual device can be bound into a RAID with other real devices. The virtual devices can then be used to cause error injection, performance changes, resets, hangs and even different queue depths. Real data can be written to the SANBlaze virtual devices and gotten back at a later time. learn more
Emulate an FCoE Switch!
The SANBlaze virtual FCoE targets and initiators can be connected directly to another FCoE device by emulating an FCF between the two connected devices. Just enable the feature on the appropriate port and the SANBlaze will accept/solicit FIP frames. It will also support FLOGI, PLOGI, FDISK, LOGO, SCR & RSCN. We even support Name Server.
