Gathering Supplies Needed:

As we finalize the last details, we are still in need of a few items.
  • Our service project is a perfect way to use your THRIVENT ACTION TEAM GRANT.  We are looking for 2-3 Thrivent members who could sponsor this .
  • Not a Thrivent member?  Consider a financial donation to support the blessing bags project!
  •
  • We are also looking for a congregation to partner with us to buy "boomwhackers" for the gathering band.  Partner with us to purchase them for the gathering ($100-150) and take them home when its over!

Email Erin Power if you can help!

The Rocky Mountain Synod has unveil a new dynamic website that will work as well on a mobile phone as on a computer screen.

On the new site, the same information is presented in different formats depending on the size of the screen, so the experience on a mobile phone is much improved.
Message from the RMSWO President:
Merry Christmas to the Women of the Rocky Mountain Synod.  The RMSWO Board has moved to discontinue the print copy of the Views from the Rockies newsletter with the first issue of 2016.  In order for this to be successful, please sign up to receive the eConnection newsletter. By receiving the eConnection, you will receive a link to the latest issue of the Views when published, plus you will be learning more about what is happening from congregations and organizations in the synod.  Check out the new Synod website with the Women's ministry page.  Questions, please contact Anna Thompson, RMSWO President at anna498.at@gmail.com or Susan Mitchell, RMSWO Treasurer at shm@artguidesource.com.

WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER!

Consider an end-of-the-year gift
to the Better Together Fund

The Scriptures remind us that we are the Body of Christ, woven together for the sake of our witness to God's love and grace. As members of the ELCA we claim the power of being Christ's Church-Better Together.

At our Rocky Mountain Synod Assembly in May the Synod Council announced the Better Together Fund, an opportunity for those passionate about our shared ministry as a synod and as a global church to set aside one dollar a day (or more) for the foundational work we do together. Currently the amount raised is over $36,000!

Gifts may be given online, or send in a check made out to Rocky Mountain Synod. Gifts of appreciated stock are also welcome, providing a smart gifting strategy. Send an email to Kent Mueller to receive information about giving a gift of stock.
