Prayer of the Day
Almighty and ever-living God, you anointed your beloved Son to be priest and sovereign forever. Grant that all the people of the earth, now divided by the power of sin, may be united by the glorious and gentle rule of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

MOTORCYCLES FOR MADAGASCAR
|
Four Motorcycles to be purchased for Companion Synods!
Success! It was the goal of the RMS Companion Synod Committee to raise $10,000 to purchase four motorcycles, one for each of our companion synods in Northern Madagascar. So far the Rocky Mountain Synod has raised over $14,000, which will purchase four motorcycles! Success!
Thank you for your support! These motorcycles will allow pastors in Madagascar to travel to congregations in remote areas. The pastors who receive these motorcycles will also be able to further their effort of evangelism throughout Madagascar, which is part of the mission of the Malagasy Lutheran Church. If you wish to support the mission of the Malagasy Lutheran Church by contributing to Motorcycles for Madagascar, please send a check to the Rocky Mountain Synod with Motorcycles for Madagascar in the memo line. Again, thank you for your support!

2015 MISSIONAL GATHERINGS |
One final conference gathering!

This year's Missional Gatherings in each conference will help us explore our theme for the year, "Many Voices, One Song." The church is made of many voices, and each voice is as distinctive as the person or the community that sings it. The wonder of the project is how the voices all come together to make one song.

Cornerstone is the foundation for the gathering and their help is greatly appreciated by the planning team and those at the gathering. If you are interested in being apart of the Cornerstone Team for the Senior High Youth Gathering, November 20-22, please e-mail Eric Plothow at ecplothow@aol.com or Kathryn Seyfarth at Kathryn@SkyRanchColorado.org for the application.

Consider an end-of-the-year gift to the Better Together Fund
The Scriptures remind us that we are the Body of Christ, woven together for the sake of our witness to God's love and grace. As members of the ELCA we claim the power of being Christ's Church-Better Together.
At our Rocky Mountain Synod Assembly in May the Synod Council announced the Better Together Fund, an opportunity for those passionate about our shared ministry as a synod and as a global church to set aside one dollar a day (or more) for the foundational work we do together. Learn more and give a gift online. Currently the amount raised is over $36,000!
Gifts may be given online, or send in a check made out to Rocky Mountain Synod. Gifts of appreciated stock are also welcome, providing a smart gifting strategy. Send an email to Kent Mueller to receive information about giving a gift of stock.

Emotional Intelligence skills are essential for effective ministry within a congregational setting. These are those "people" skills that support clergy making meaningful inter-personal connection with congregants.

The EQ-HR workshop is a highly experiential event within small groups of 8-12 participants with 2 trained facilitators where such feedback can be obtained.
