Lakewood Lutheran and Episcopal Clergy traded spaces February 16
Pastor Rick Thompson, Holy Shepherd, Lakewood, CO, has been building a relationship for a couple years with St. Paul's Episcopal, five blocks away.
Pastor Thompson traded worship spaces with The Rev. Allan Cole from St. Paul's. Each preached and presided at their neighboring congregation. "It was a really good experience for me!" said Pastor Thompson. "I felt very welcomed and enjoyed my time talking with adults during education hour about Lutherans and our relationship with Episcopalians. I think there were lots of 'let's do this again' comments in both congregations."
