Wanted: Barrio Logan Plan Forum Participant
Must Be Familiar with Arguments Against Plan and Able to Answer Questions

Last week's eNews announced a forum on this June's vote on City of San Diego Propositions B & C. The forum was originally planned for our March meeting but was rescheduled specifically for San Diegans for Prosperity - the group that is leading the campaign against the propositions. Within hours of our announcement, we received word that San Diegans for Prosperity would not take part in the forum. You can read more about the campaign HERE.
We will have the Barrio Logan plan forum on April 24th and we'll continue to seek a representative to explain the arguments against the plan even if the group tasked with opposition is unable to do so.
We will also complete our endorsement process - including consideration of candidates for judicial offices and designation of priority campaigns for the June 3rd primary election.
We anticipate a short meeting so plan on joining us following adjournment for a late meal in support of the Center's Dining Out for Life.
Thursday, April 24th

Irregularly Annual Big Kitchen Lasagna Dinner Set for Friday, May 2nd
Judy the Beauty On Duty Forman makes a vegetarian lasagna soooo good it brings carnivores to tears of joy. The Big Kitchen is soooo cool, Whoopi Goldberg worked there before she made it big as Guinan on TNG (Star Trek - the Next Generation for those of you not into culture), and even Speaker Toni Atkins, Council President Todd Gloria and School Board President Kevin Beiser have been known to wait tables there.
Here's your chance to join in on the magic - and who knows who will be slinging lasagna at your table.
Friday, May 2nd
6:00 - 8:00 PM
Big Kitchen Cafe
3003 Grape St, San Diego, CA 92102
